How SongCleaner Works

Clean up a song in five steps. No audio skills needed.

1. Upload your song

Go to the upload page, choose your audio file (MP3, FLAC, WAV or MP4, up to 50MB) and click Upload and Process.

2. Review the detected lyrics

SongCleaner transcribes the song and flags explicit words automatically, shown in red. You get the full lyrics next to the audio waveform, and you can hit Play (at slower speeds too) to double-check any line.

3. Click any word to include or exclude it

The AI's picks are just a starting point. Click any word to mark it for removal, even ones SongCleaner didn't flag, or click a flagged word to keep it. Choose whether a click affects just that word or every match in the song.

4. Optional: mark a custom section on the waveform

Something to remove that isn't a single word? Drag across the waveform to mark any stretch of audio for removal and it appears as a red region. Double-click a region to delete it.

5. Generate and download your clean version

Click Generate Safe Version. In a couple of minutes your clean track is ready to preview and download as MP3. Subscribers also get a FLAC version and the instrumental track.
